Role Description
This full-time MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering scholarship-based role is designed for aspiring scholars from Sabah. The selected candidate will pursue research and academic excellence, contributing to innovative solutions within the field of electrical and electronics engineering. Responsibilities include engaging in coursework, participating in cutting-edge research projects, publishing findings in journals, and collaborating with faculty and peers to advance knowledge. This hybrid on-site program is based at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Bota and Universiti Malaysia Sabah, fostering hands-on learning in a state-of-the-art educational environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with knowledge in related fields such as circuits, control systems, and embedded systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to engineering research and academic projects.
- Competence in technical writing and presenting research findings effectively.
- Experience with engineering software tools, simulations, and data analysis.
- Motivation for advanced studies and a commitment to contributing to impactful research in energy or digital transformation fields.
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related discipline with a strong academic record.
- Preference will be given to applicants from Sabah, with a keen interest in developing solutions that address regional and global challenges.
