Role Description The Multimedia Intern is a full-time, on-site role located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role involves supporting the creation of visual and multimedia content that communicates ACTERM's research, events, and initiatives to diverse audiences. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with video production, photographing lab activities and events, designing graphics for digital and print channels, and helping prepare presentations or promotional materials. The intern will collaborate with researchers and administrative staff to translate complex scientific work into engaging visual stories, manage media files and archives, and help maintain ACTERM's digital presence. The role offers hands-on experience in a research-focused environment while developing practical multimedia and communication skills.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in multimedia production and basic media editing workflows.
• Candidates should possess skills in video production, including filming, simple editing, and post-production support.
• Candidates should possess skills in graphics and graphic design for both digital and print materials.
• Candidates should possess skills in photography, including shooting, selecting, and editing images for communications use.
• Familiarity with design and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent) is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and an ability to follow brand and visual guidelines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Multimedia, Design, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
