Role:
Payment Operations Specialist will be responsible in managing and overseeing payment processes within our company. This role requires high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of payment operations. The Payment Operations Specialist ensures the smooth and efficient execution of all payment transactions while adhering to the company's processes and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Process Payments: Execute timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing payments
- Reconciliation: Perform daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliations of payment transactions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with antimoney laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations. Implement and enforce internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Vendor Management: Liaise with banks, payment processors, and other financial institutions to manage relationships and resolve payment related issues
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on payment activities, including transaction volumes, processing times, and error rates. Analyse trends and provide insights to improve operational efficiency
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes and enhance automation with technology. Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades
- Customer Support: Provide solutions to customers regarding payment inquiries, disputes, and resolution. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective communication
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in payment operations within the Forex/Trading industry or financial services sector
- Strong understanding of payment systems, including SWIFT, IBAN, and other international payment protocols
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools for payment processing and reconciliation
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as AML and PSP
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem solving and continuous improvement
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is Compulsory
- Fresh grads are encouraged to apply
- Must be willing to work on rotational shifts (covering weekends/PH) as and when required
