Meiji Pharma Asia is building its presence across ASEAN, bringing innovative therapies to patients with significant unmet medical needs. We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Advisor / Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support our growing Hematology-Oncology portfolio across Malaysia and Singapore.

About the Role

As the scientific expert for our Hematology-Oncology portfolio, you will lead medical affairs activities across the product lifecycle, from pre-launch planning and launch readiness through post-launch scientific engagement and medical education. You will build trusted relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), hematologists, and oncologists, while generating strategic insights that support patient access across Malaysia and Singapore.

This is a field-based role requiring close collaboration with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Business Development, Commercial, and Market Access across Japan and ASEAN teams.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific Leadership & KOL Engagement

Develop and maintain strong scientific relationships with hematologists, oncologists and other healthcare professionals.
Deliver high-quality, non-promotional scientific exchange.
Build and execute KOL engagement plans across Malaysia and Singapore.
Gather insights on treatment landscapes, unmet needs, and emerging opportunities.

Medical Affairs & Launch Readiness

Support pre-launch and launch readiness activities for Hematology-Oncology products.
Contribute to medical strategy and evidence-generation planning.
Monitor competitor activities, clinical developments, and treatment trends.
Support Named Patient Programs (NPPs), Early Access Programs (EAPs), and other access initiatives.

Medical Education

Lead scientific presentations and educational activities for healthcare professionals.
Support advisory boards, speaker programs, congresses, and scientific meetings.
Provide scientific training and disease-area expertise to internal stakeholders.

Clinical Research & Evidence Generation

Identify opportunities for investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence.
Support study feasibility assessments and investigator engagement activities.
Facilitate collaboration between external researchers and internal teams.

Cross-Functional Partnership

Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Commercial, and Business Development teams.
Provide scientific input to regulatory submissions, access strategies, and asset evaluations.
Contribute to strategic initiatives supporting the growth of Meiji Pharma Asia.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, industry codes, and company policies.
Maintain the highest standards of scientific integrity and ethical conduct.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of Medical Affairs, MSL, or related pharmaceutical industry experience.
Strong experience in Hematology-Oncology Medical Affairs.
Established network and relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals in Malaysia.
Proven experience in scientific exchange, medical education, advisory boards, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong scientific communication and presentation skills.
Good understanding of the Malaysian healthcare ecosystem.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel regularly within Malaysia and Singapore (up to 50%).
