Narrative Game Designer (Contract)

Kaigan Games is seeking Game Designers to help build gameplay moments focused building narrative games. If you are comfortable in exploring how to build strong tactical gameplay or cathartic story experiences, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities:

Build towards a design vision that engages with players in narrative satisfaction.

Deliver system designs and documentation that fits the vision and implementing it.

Grow with other designers and other team members in collaboration and craft.

Develop effective playtesting processes that validates the design goals and overall improvement

Requirements:

2+ years of game design experience.

Knowledge of game design tools and methodologies for narrative games.

Strong communication skills and empathy toward working with internal and external feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with various narrative mediums and tools.
