Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using .NET(c#) and Angular.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues with strong ownership and accountability.
Ensure systems are optimized for performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
Build scalable database architectures and optimize SQL queries (MSSQL).
Lead feature designfrom technical conception, architecture discussions, effort assessment to deployment.
Contribute to architectural and process improvements across the engineering team.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including BA, QA, and Product Owners to deliver features effectively.
Partner with cross-team stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions and resolve cross-system issues.
Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and guide best practices in engineering.
Support server patching activities by performing sanity tests, and coordinating with infrastructure teams to ensure application stability after server updates.
Maintain and enhance technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Support the endtoend deployment approval process, including preparing deployment checklists, coordinate and obtain approvals from relevant stakeholders, participate in review sessions to explain technical solutions and address queries from approvers, presenting changes in CAB/Go-Live meetings, and ensuring all prerequisites are fulfilled.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deployments comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
At least 4 years of hands-on web application development experience.
Proficient in .NET (C#) and Angular.
Strong experience in RESTful API design and database design (MSSQL).
Proficient with Git, and familiar with Azure cloud services and containerization (Docker).
Demonstrates strong problem solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide teams and drive technical decisions.
Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Preferred: Fluent in both English and Mandarin, as the role requires frequent communication and collaboration with teams based in China.
Good to Have
Experience with Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
