Network Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a network engineer to support the Network Security Operations team in the Asia Pacific region, China, and the world. This role will work closely with the rest of the team based in France and USA to design, build, and support the network infrastructure of the Group.

This role will also lead project activities, gather business/technical requirements, design solutions to meet requirements, facilitate vendor evaluation and selection, configure and integrate hardware, prepare technical documentation, and support project go-live.

This role will report to the Global Manager, Network Operational Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate secure and scalable network infrastructure.
• Be a technical leader in projects at a global scale and assist project managers with details about the technical aspects of projects
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to cost and reliability optimization
• Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and governance standards
• Work closely with global IT teams, vendors, and service providers across APAC, China and EMEA

Required Profile

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, routing, firewalls, cloud. Specifically, Cisco, Extreme, Aruba, Palo Alto, AWS, and AliCloud
• Experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure operations
• Understanding and the ability to deploy and operate networks securely
• Experience working with managed service providers or outsourced IT operations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in regional, multicultural teams
• Fluent English and Mandarin (mandatory)
