We are looking for Network Engineer mainly in Huawei Network Background.
Job Description
Provide operational and technical support for enterprise network infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and optimal performance. This role is responsible for executing routine operational tasks, troubleshooting complex issues, performing performance tuning, and providing Level 3 (L3) support for network-related incidents and requests.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network Operations
- Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability using standard monitoring tools.
- Respond to alerts and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, and system optimization.
- Provide Level 3 (L3) support for network requests and major incidents.
2. Troubleshooting & Support
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues across Data Center (DC), LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi environments.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the Senior Manager when required.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and end users.
3. Configuration & Implementation
- Assist in the configuration and deployment of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Support network changes in accordance with approved change management processes.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades and enhancement initiatives.
4. Compliance & Security
- Implement and enforce network security policies (e.g., access control, firmware patching, hardening).
- Participate in vulnerability assessment and remediation activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT governance and security standards.
5. Documentation
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, incidents, and change records.
- Update network topology diagrams, storage diagrams, and asset inventory lists.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering.
- At least 2 years in a senior technical or Level 3 support role.
Certifications
- CCNP, HCIP/HCIE, or equivalent professional certification.
Technical Skills
- Routing & Switching (Cisco, Huawei)
- Firewalls & Load Balancers (F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Network monitoring tools (ExtraHop, Gigamon, SolarWinds)
- Network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible)
