Job Description
Hiring: Firewall Engineer | Malaysia
We are looking for an experienced Firewall Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in firewall deployment, implementation, and network security.
Location: Malaysia
Experience: 6+ Years
Job type:1 year contract
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall solutions.
- Work on Routing & Switching (R&S) and firewall technologies.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of:
- FortiGate
- Palo Alto
- Cisco ASA
- Check Point
- Manage firewall policies, configurations, troubleshooting, and security controls.
- Support network security implementation and ongoing operational activities.
Good to Have
- Zscaler Proxy
- Other Proxy/Secure Web Gateway tools
- Automation tools
- Scripting
- Linux administration/troubleshooting
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Firewall/Network Security.
- Strong hands-on experience in firewall deployment and implementation.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, Routing & Switching, and security technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with enterprise firewall environments is preferred.
