Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise networking. The role involves designing, implementing, operating, and supporting network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and datacenter network infrastructure.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network incidents.
- Implement and support routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP).
- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and change management.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to resolve network issues.
- Provide on-call or after-hours support when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in network engineering or network operations.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment (Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, A10, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (NMS, packet capture tools, SNMP).
- Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with wireless networks and controllers.
- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS) or security frameworks (PCI DSS).
- Knowledge of load balancers, SD-WAN, IPVPN.
- Relevant certifications: CCNA/CCNP, Aruba ACMP/ACSP, or equivalent.
