Job Description

Job Title: Network Pre-Sales Engineer

Location: Klang, Malaysia

Work Mode: Onsite

Employment Type: Permanent

Experience Level: 3+ years

Work Eligibility: Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

About the Role

As a Network Pre-Sales Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and support to the sales team, helping to qualify leads and design solutions that address customer requirements. You will play a crucial role in delivering product presentations, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring proposed solutions meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective.

Deliver effective sales and product presentations to prospective clients.

Conduct Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and product demonstrations.

Provide technology updates and technical guidance to customers.

Prepare Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.

Act as the main technical resource for customer inquiries regarding features, specifications, functionality, and integration.

Collaborate with principals, internal sales teams, and product teams to ensure solution designs align with customer requirements.

Must-have Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

At least 3 years of relevant working experience.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Strong understanding of DNS & NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.

Possess own transport and willing to travel around Klang Valley.

Experience with pre-sales solution design for enterprise networking products (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).

Experience supporting sales teams in technical pre-sales or solution architect roles.

Familiarity with preparing Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
