What are you accountable for

• To procure materials, software and services to meet the requirements of business and support unit.

• To negotiate with vendors for a better and favourable price.

• To analyse commercial proposal and benchmark accordingly for comparative price.

• To arrange and supervise the technical clarification and evaluation of a request.

• To assist legal department and review contract whichever relevant on procurement point.

• To communicate with vendor and end user as a single point of communication during tender and order.

• To procure materials, software and services to meet the requirements of business and support unit.

• Comply with Maxis procurement policies and principles, and tender governance process.

What do you need to have for the role

Formal Education

Bachelor's Degree

Specialised in: Telecommunication or Engineering or Supply Chain Management or related fied

Work Experience

Total Work Experience: 8 to 10 years

Total Relevant Experience: 8 to 10 years

Skills/ Knowledge

• Familiar in SAP/MS Office especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Knowledgeable in procurement contracts

• Effective skills in contract negotiation and implementation

• Effective communication skills

• Good understanding of procurement policies, principles and process with integrity

• Good inter-personal skill, able to work well with others

• Possesses relevant product /commodity knowledge

• Ability to make recommendation based on relevant info. Excellent writing and presentation skills.

• Personal traits: Positive, Passionate, Collaborative, A self-starter, Ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment and A team player

• Knowledge in Telecommunication Infrastructure and Network is preferred
