Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Network & Security Specialist Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performing infrastructure across our global manufacturing operations.
The role demands a hands-on technical expert who can manage complex network and security environments while supporting the planning and coordination of related IT projects. The successful candidate will ensure network resilience, cybersecurity compliance, and efficient delivery of technology initiatives in collaboration with global IT and operations teams.
This position also offers the opportunity to develop or apply
project management skills, supporting the successful delivery of infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Engineering & Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across global sites (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless).
- Manage network configurations, capacity planning, and optimization to ensure performance, scalability, and redundancy.
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues and lead root cause analysis to maintain operational stability.
- Collaborate with vendors and local IT teams to standardize and modernize network environments.
- Support integration of IT and OT networks in manufacturing plants, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for production systems.
- Cybersecurity Operations & Governance
- Deploy, configure, and maintain security systems including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS/IDS), and endpoint protection.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, patching, and risk mitigation activities.
- Support security monitoring, incident response, and audit remediation in collaboration with global security teams.
- Implement and enforce network access controls, identity management integrations, and Zero Trust principles.
- Identity & Cloud Infrastructure Support
- Administer and maintain Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID (Azure AD) for global identity and access management.
- Support integration between on-premises AD and Azure cloud environments.
- Participate in Azure infrastructure projects, including networking, connectivity, and security configuration for hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to improve identity lifecycle processes and enforce least-privilege access models.
- Project Support & Coordination
- Participate in planning and execution of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects, acting as technical lead or workstream coordinator.
- Prepare project documentation (technical designs, test plans, implementation schedules).
- Provide regular progress updates and technical risk assessments to project leadership.
- Apply or develop project management capabilities PMP or ITIL certification is a plus.
Education
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Professional Certifications (Highly Preferred)
- Networking: Cisco CCNP or equivalent.
- Security: Fortinet NSE, CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
- Cloud & Identity: Microsoft Certified (Azure Administrator / Entra ID / AD).
- Project Management (Nice to Have): PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL Foundation.
Technical Expertise
- Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise networks and security systems across distributed environments.
- In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and WAN optimization.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto) and SIEM.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud networking, hybrid identity integration, and AD/Entra ID administration.
- Understanding of OT/IT network segmentation, industrial protocols, and manufacturing systems integration.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to work under pressure in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
