Job Description

We are looking for a self-driven NPI expert to lead product introduction projects for PCBA and Final Assembly in a growing advanced electronics manufacturing environment.

Your tasks

  • Own and drive product implementation projects for PCBA and Final Assembly from project kick-off to stable serial production.
  • Create transparency on project progress by tracking milestones, open points, risks, manufacturing readiness, material readiness, process status, and improvement actions.
  • Lead the manufacturing setup together with Process Engineering, Production, and R&D, including BOM implementation, routing creation, work instructions, process specifications, and production setup data.
  • Cooperate closely with Procurement, SCM, Quality, Production, Engineering, and other relevant functions to secure material availability, process readiness, and smooth project execution.
  • Drive prototype builds, pilot builds, ramp-up activities, issue resolution, and handover to operations to ensure a reliable start of production.
  • Act as the project owner for cross-functional topics, drive decisions, escalate risks early, and ensure that technical and operational deliverables are completed according to project milestones.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical project management, NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, or related manufacturing project roles.
  • Experience in advanced electronics manufacturing, electronic assemblies, PCB/PCBA, final assembly, testing, or equivalent technical manufacturing environments.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing concepts, BOM structures, routings, process flows, production layouts, tooling, fixtures, work instructions, and production readiness.
  • Practical experience in leading cross-functional technical projects, managing milestones and open points, and driving topics to closure with Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and SCM.
  • Strong hands-on mindset with ownership, self-drive, problem-solving capability, and motivation to build, improve, and bring products into a growing manufacturing environment.
