  • The NVMQRA SSD Senior Technician is responsible for supporting SSD EFA activities, monitoring physical inventory, handling shipment, tracking physical parts, sustaining 6S housekeeping. Key job functions include:

  • Perform first level SSD electrical failure analysis (EFA) including visual inspection, voltage/impedance measurement, hotspot detection on datacenter SSD.

  • Compile EFA report to record the EFA progress and results in JIRA.

  • Help to setup new leak test workstation to prepare for new product launch and qualification.

  • Complete shipping documentation and submit/receive/track shipment.

  • Work with other technicians to setup test board/rack for SSD level reliability testing.

  • Collaborate with other support teams to work on tester PM / calibration and ensure maintenance records are meeting ISO requirements.

  • Assist to run ODM simulation testing for OEM customer.

  • Sustain laboratory housekeeping and ensure the lab setup meeting the requirements of 6S, cleanroom, ESD and EHS. Coordinate the janitor services to maintain the cleanliness in the laboratory.

  • Track and record physical inventory in the laboratory and practice proper record of archived and scrap parts. Submit SSD to scrap center by following scrap procedure.

  • Maintain the full SSD tracking using MAM for NPI products, engineering SSD, test passers, operating system SSD, etc.

  • Operate various SSD tester/chamber, optical microscope, thermal imager, oscilloscope and bench PC.

  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support urgent requests in order to meet the test/EFA turnaround time.
