The O&M Technician is primarily responsible for plant operations and maintenance. The individual requires to carry out preventive, corrective and other maintenance ensuring the highest standards is adhered to. In addition, the individual performs plant operations activities such as performance monitoring, data analysis, power control, grid compliance and invoice preparation. The individual support testing and commissioning and quality checks for project under installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic inspections and preventive maintenance activities for rooftop solar power systems in accordance with the maintenance plan of assigned projects.
- Ensure corrective maintenance is done effectively and swiftly.
- Monitoring operation status and system parameters of operating projects; Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions technical faults within short response time.
- Oversee and coordinate with O&M contractors to ensure strict compliance with safety measures required by the company and of the client's factories.
- Track and document all faults in fault log, ensuring all fault is addressed.
- Prepare incident reports and preventive maintenance reports for assigned projects.
- Testing and commissioning and quality checks for newly installed projects.
- Propose a list of spare parts and backup equipment required for each project.
- Perform monthly electricity billing calculations for customers in accordance with PPA contracts.
Qualification/Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical or mechanical or equivalent is preferred Minimum IKM, IKBN and ILP.
- Possess Wireman PW3 License.
- 1 to 2 years experience in Solar or electrical industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication skill.
- Strong knowledge in safety policies and requirements.
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting electrical system and solar system failures.
- Good in using electrical measurements equipment and tools.
- Good in using MS Office is must.
- Fluent in English.
