Job Summary
Role
1.1 MT Product Purchasing Buyer for related MT Product Group(s) in PgP2 along the complete Product Life Cycle (incl. product relocation).
1.2 MT Purchasing Strategy-, Quality- and Target Cost responsibility and accountability for MT Product Groups in PgP2.
1.3 MT contact interface to Material Field purchasing (Commercial, Quality). Assure aligned messages for the related Product Group from MT to the Material Field Purchasing.
1.4 Escalation in the MT-Pg for Purchasing related issues (commercial, quality, logistics).
1.5 Prepare aligned MT-Pg Product Group Purchasing Strategy for PT-MT/PPU
Job Scope
2.1 Definition & Maintenance of a Product Group Purchasing Strategy considering TTM and Value Stream targets of MT-PgP.
2.2 Product Group interface from Purchasing to MT.
2.3 Leading and responsible for the RPP activities in the respective Product Group (creation, implementation, cooperation cross-functionally) at PgP location.
2.4 Early Supplier involvement in PIF to support Product Innovation and Target Cost Achievement (PILUM).
2.5 Support Annual Price Negotiation by providing new potential business opportunities of Product. Group in pipe-line.
2.6 Challenge and support Material Field buyers to achieve Best Material Field Costs
2.7 Support Material Field Buyers for contracting (e.g. SE-contracts, NDA, Concept Competition etc.)
2.8 Create transparency of costs of Product Group by benchmarking (support the Global Product Champion).
2.9 Responsible for achievement of Best Costs in Product Group (Benchmarking, TCO, RPP) before / after SOP.
2.10 Responsible for Product Group related quality activities (e.g. ISIR, 8D, PQA, etc.)
2.11 First escalation level for Quality and Logistics related supplier issues from Plant.
2.12 Takes care of purchasing related topics/tasks in the Value Stream.
2.13 Ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.
