About the Role
Aspart of Tencent's APAC Workday HR Team in the overseas IT department, you'll provide frontline support for Workday HCM while contributing to system enhancements. This role is ideal for tech-savvy problem-solvers eager to build expertise in HR systems within a dynamic, multinational environment.
Responsibilities
User Support & Training
- Resolve Workday HCM queries (e.g., Recruiting, Time Off, HCM, Performance Management).
- Diagnose and resolve Workday business process and reporting issues by delivering functional solutions aligned with system best practices.
- Escalate complex cases to senior team members for timely resolution.
- Create user-friendly guides/videos (Chinese & English) to improve system adoption and user experiences.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for daily support activities, including troubleshooting workflows, system enhancements, and compliance documentation, to ensure consistency and alignment with evolving business needs.
Process Improvement
- Identify automation opportunities and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with HR/IT to implement solutions aligned with Tencent's global process standards in Workday.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to SOPs/SLAs.
- Ensure HR data compliance with global and local regulations (e.g., GDPR, PIPL) and internal data governance standards through access controls, audits, and encryption protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, or HR Tech related fields.Language: Fluent in
- English and Chinese (written/spoken) to support global users.Basic understanding of HR processes (Hiring, Onboarding, Offboading, Leave of absences, and Performance).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with design tools is a plus.
- Fast learner with a passion for HR technology.Team player who thrives in collaborative, multicultural settings.
Preferred (But Not Required)
- 13 years of experience in HRIS,
- Workday, or other SaaS support
- Exposure to Workday modules (Talent, Absence, Reporting).Experience in multinational tech companies or fast-paced environments.
