Job Summary

The individual will a strategic architect who transforms complex data into actionable commercial roadmaps. You will be responsible for the Business Diagnosis of the organization, performing deep-dive analyses across customers and channels (Online & Offline) to identify growth white spaces, optimize forecasting accuracy, and provide the leadership team with the insights needed for high-stakes decision-making

Key Responsibilities

Business Analytics & Performance Diagnosis

  • Conduct comprehensive deep-dive diagnostic reviews of business performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Analyze performance through multiple lenses: By Customer (Top accounts vs. independent), By Channel (E-commerce, Travel Retail, Boutique, Department Stores), and By Region.
  • Identify the root causes of over-performance or under-performance (e.g., footfall, conversion, basket size, assortment gaps, or promotional mechanics).

Customer Investment Management & Evaluation

  • Contractual Integrity: Oversee the commercial terms and conditions within customer contracts (Trade Terms, Rebates, Growth Incentives).
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on Achievement vs. Target for key accounts to ensure compliance with contractual growth agreements.
  • Incentive Optimization: Analyze the effectiveness of Pay-for-Performance models to ensure they drive the right behaviors from retail partners.
  • Monthly Investment Review: Lead a monthly audit of promotional spend across all channels (Online/Offline).
  • Efficiency Diagnosis: Evaluate the Lift and Return on Investment (ROI) of specific promotional mechanics (e.g., GWP, Discounts, Multi-buys, Flash Sales).

Business Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the sales forecasting process, ensuring alignment between Marketing animations, Supply Chain capabilities, and Commercial targets.
  • Develop data-driven sales plans that account for seasonality, product launches, and channel-specific trends.
  • Monitor Plan vs. Actual variances and proactively suggest course corrections to hit annual targets.

Omnichannel Strategy (Online & Offline)

  • Bridge the gap between physical Office/Boutique retail and Online e-commerce performance.
  • Analyze the ROI of digital media spend versus physical point-of-sale investments.
  • Identify cross-channel synergies and potential cannibalization risks to ensure a seamless consumer journey.

Opportunity Identification & Strategic Insights

  • Synthesize technical data into high-level strategic insights for Senior Management.
  • Translate What happened into What should we do next—defining clear business priorities and investment areas.
  • Uncover untapped business opportunities (e.g., under-indexed categories in specific channels or high-potential customer segments).

Business Transformation & Change Management

  • Lead and harmonize commercial transformation projects (TWWT, TWWP, ONE SFA, LPS)
  • Sales Enablement: Transition the Sales Force from order takers to strategic consultants by automating their administrative burden.
  • Adoption Tracking: Define and monitor KPIs for digital adoption, order automation rates, and commercial policy compliance.

Team Leadership & Collective Performance

  • Agile Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two team members
  • Priority Orchestration: Ensure the team maintains intensive and hands-on participation across all 360° priorities (O+O, Process, System, and Commercial Policy). There are no silos in this team; every member is expected to be deeply involved in every workstream.
  • Workload Leveling: Manage the team's energy and output during high-pressure system migrations or commercial policy redesign phases.

Technical & Professional Competencies

  • Data Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query/Pivot) and Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L drivers, retail math, and commercial trade terms.
  • Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of Gross-to-Net (G2N) accounting, Net sales, and Contribution Margin.
  • Forecasting Logic: Experience with demand planning and predictive modeling.
  • Strategic Communication: Ability to story-tell with data, making complex numbers digestible for non-analytical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in Business Development, Commercial Excellence, or Business Intelligence.
  • Proven track record in FMCG, Beauty, or Luxury retail environments.
  • Experience managing both Brick & Mortar and E-commerce datasets.
