Job Description

The Onboarding Operations Support role serves as the primary point of contact for merchants on behalf of the Payment Operations Team. This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating the end-to-end merchant onboarding process, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and effective collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for merchants, providing guidance on onboarding requirements and assisting with the collection and submission of required documentation
  • Conduct timely follow-ups with merchants, provide clear onboarding status updates, and coordinate with Antom to escalate cases when necessary
  • Support and oversee the end-to-end onboarding process in collaboration with the Onboarding Specialist, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders remain informed and aligned
  • Ensure all digital data and submitted documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Liaise with internal teams to coordinate merchant management activities, verify merchant information, and ensure a smooth onboarding progression throughout the lifecycle
  • Support risk management and compliance checks by ensuring documentation is handled in accordance with established onboarding standards

Additional Duties

  • Perform administrative and operational tasks as required to support onboarding and payment operations
  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments related to merchant management, reporting, or process improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese due to needs to speak to internal China Colleagues and Chinese merchants.
  • Good operational skills, able to see processes end to end
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in handling documentation and digital records
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with onboarding, risk, and regulatory requirements
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and open to acquiring new knowledge in payment operations and onboarding processes
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to proactively identify issues and work collaboratively to resolve them efficiently
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to engage effectively with merchants and internal stakeholders
