OpenText AppWorks Application Developer (java, JavaScript, MS SQL, BPM)

Project Description:

Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.

The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop workflow-based applications using OpenText AppWorks.

Develop backend components using Java and frontend components using JavaScript and Angular.

Perform database design and development activities using MS SQL Server.

Deploy, configure, and support applications on Windows and Linux environments.

Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and issue resolution.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Ensure compliance with SDLC processes, coding standards, and change management.

Mandatory Skills Description:

6-9 years of hands-on experience in OpenText AppWorks application development

Strong experience in Java-based backend development

Experience developing UI components using JavaScript and Angular

Good working knowledge of MS SQL Server

Experience working on Windows and Linux environments

Experience in workflow / BPM-based enterprise applications

Familiarity with SDLC, coding standards, and change management
