Operation Assistant (Mining Industry)

Job Description

• Assist in monitoring daily operations of all mining and sand washing sites through reports, photos, videos, and updates from site teams.
• Compile, review, and verify daily production reports, manpower attendance, downtime, and equipment usage submitted by site supervisors.
• Follow up with sites on operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain and organize documents related to Mining Licence (ML), Operation Mining Scheme (OMS), EIA, safety compliance, and site audits.
• Assist in preparing documents for authorities, consultants, and internal reviews.
• Track licence expiry dates, renewal timelines, compliance submissions, and operational permits.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational summaries for management.
• Travel to mining sites across Malaysia for inspections, verification of reports, and operational assessments.
• Capture photos/videos and prepare site visit summaries for management.
• Ad Hoc task by management

Job Requirement

• SPM / Diploma in Business, Engineering, Geology, Operations Management, or related field.
• Basic understanding of mining or heavy industry operations is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Able to analyse data, prepare reports, and work with Excel/Google Sheets.
• Willing to travel occasionally to sites within Malaysia (with transport provided).
• Able to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Language: Malay and English; Mandarin will be advantage
