This is a full-time on-site role for a Operation candidate to be based in WP Kuala Lumpur. The candidate will undertake tasks such as pre-expo preparation, during expo management, post-expo follow up and management.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency,
- quality, and customer satisfaction across expo events.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, providing guidance, support, and performance coaching
- to ensure alignment with company goals and standards.
- Collaborate with senior management, sales, marketing, and other departments to define event
- objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, venues,
- suppliers, and industry partners, to support event operations.
- Oversee the planning and execution of expo events, including venue selection, logistics,
- staffing, equipment procurement, and budget management.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to assess operational performance, identify areas
- for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in events
- management and operations, incorporating innovations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, andensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the event lifecycle.
Job Requirement:
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience in event operations, preferably in-house events
- Excellence in time management and priority management
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Responsible, work ethics and integrity
- Willing to work during weekends, and outstations
