Operation & Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Establish, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for preventive and corrective maintenance in response to client requirements.
2. Lead and manage O&M teams across regions, including O&M Engineers, Technicians, and Solar Crew (team size >15 pax).
3. Ensure effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with approved SOPs and service standards.
4. Oversee QAQC checks and compliance prior to project handover to ensure readiness for O&M acceptance.
5. Ensure all PV systems meet SEDA, ST, contractual performance, and generation guarantee requirements.
6. Analyze and investigate system issues, define corrective actions, and minimize system downtime.
7. Manage contractors for adhoc maintenance works and oversee preventive maintenance contracts across all regions.
8. Provide technical guidance on warranty facilitation, materials, services, and resolution of recurring technical issues.
9. Review and approve corrective, preventive, and monthly performance reports to ensure accuracy and service quality.
10. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental regulations, and industry best practices across all O&M activities.

Academic Qualification :

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering

2. Candidates who possess Competency Certification, i.e.; Registered Electrical Energy Manager, CompetentElectrical Supervisor or Chargeman certificate will added advantage.

3. Candidates who are working on their Professional Certification i.e.; Professional Engineer, Competent

Electrical Engineer, Competent Electrical Supervisor are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experiences:

1. At least 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience in solar asset or facilities management.

2. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.

3. Technical understanding regarding AC and DC supply and NEM & Self-consumption system.

4. Familiar with PV system monitoring platform (Huawei/SMA/ABB) is an advantage.

5. Ability to define issues, analyse problems, evaluate remedial actions and able develop logical conclusions.

6. Self-motivated, able to work with little supervision and have strong teamwork spirit.

7. Good communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, peers, partners and other

stakeholders.

8. Advanced computer skills in MS Office especially Excel.
