Job Description

Position: Operational Account Advisor

Location: KL Gateway, Kuala Lumpur

Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Account Management Advisor to act as the primary operational focal point for assigned customers or partners. The role involves managing operational aspects of key business relationships, supporting operational strategy, and ensuring efficient execution of operational processes. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams and customers to improve processes, manage escalations, and support business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational focal point for assigned customer or partner accounts.
  • Support and help drive operational strategy for key customer engagements.
  • Provide process consulting expertise to project and account teams in developing customer solutions.
  • Advocate for customer and partner requirements while supporting the development and improvement of operational processes and capabilities.
  • Analyze and understand account financials, including revenue and operational performance.
  • Manage top-level escalations by coordinating with internal leadership and customer stakeholders.
  • Provide consultancy to accounts seeking to centralize purchasing of hardware or service agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement new business models and supply chain processes.
  • Implement operational procedures supporting compliance and global trade policies.
  • Advocate customer requirements in the development of automated solutions (web-based platforms, EDI systems).
  • Lead or support project activities and facilitate team collaboration and decision-making.

  • Experience with portal tools and operational systems
  • Financial analysis and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (advanced degree is an advantage).
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in:
  • Supply Chain
  • Customer Service
  • Procurement
  • Financial Management
  • 1–2 years of experience supporting large customer accounts.
  • Ability to solve complex business issues and work independently within established guidelines.

  • Experience working in cross-functional and global teams
