Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other departments to understand technical and design specifications, and translate them into clear 2D technical drawings
Assist in the prototyping phase by modifying drawings based on testing results, design reviews, or production feedback
Develop and maintain accurate design documentation, including technical drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), and revision records for traceability and version control
Ensure all drawings are updated throughout the product development life cycle to reflect changes in design or manufacturing requirements
Generate precise and standardized mechanical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks), ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
Identify areas for improvement in design or documentation practices as part of continuous improvement initiatives
Support other drafting and engineering-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Job requirements
A degree or diploma in drafting, engineering design, architecture, or a related field (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering)
Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools
At least 1 year experience in creating technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints in an engineering context is preferable
