Job Description

Position : Operations Engineer

Industry : Oil & Gas

Location : Kuala Lumpur

Job Description:

Support daily oil and gas operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.
Monitor operational performance and assist in troubleshooting operational issues.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support operational requirements and improvement initiatives.
Ensure operational activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.
Provide technical and operational support for onshore terminals and offshore facilities.
Assist in preparing operational reports, documentation, and performance analysis.
Participate in site visits and offshore assignments when required.

Qualification/Skills:

Minimum Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with an upstream operator.
Familiar with oil and gas operational processes and production systems.
Valid T-BOSIET and AME Medical (or willing/able to obtain) and fit for offshore travel.
Willing to travel to onshore terminals and offshore facilities when required.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
Flexible and able to support fluctuating operational needs.
