We are supporting a confidential search for an experienced Operations Lead to oversee end-to-end manufacturing and production operations at a well-established facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance across all production functions.
About the Role
The Operations Lead will manage day-to-day production activities, including manpower planning, cost control, equipment utilization, and process improvement. The role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in regulated manufacturing environments and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operational Management
- Oversee production operations to ensure consistent product quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet business needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce wastage.
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization across manpower, materials, and equipment.
Cost Control & Efficiency
- Evaluate cost of goods (COG) and implement initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness.
- Drive improvement projects focused on equipment efficiency and labor optimization.
- Analyze production data and KPIs to guide decision-making.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and conduct regular risk assessments.
- Maintain a clean and compliant production environment in line with GMP or equivalent standards.
People Development
- Lead and coach production teams to build technical capabilities and ensure operational excellence.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across the team.
About You
We're seeking a dedicated and performance-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic production environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–15 years experience in production or manufacturing operations, ideally within pharmaceutical, consumer goods, food, or chemical industries.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial or operations leadership position.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
