MYFutureJobs are currently assistingOtsuka Pharmaceuticals Malaysia Sdn Bhd in identifying a high-caliber Operations Manager to join their manufacturing facility in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
This is a dual-function leadership role designed for a professional who excels in both strategic procurement and precise production planning within the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Purchasing & Trade Compliance
- Lead sourcing and negotiation with suppliers for raw materials and packaging.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process to ensure zero downtime in production.
- Manage complex import/export documentation, ensuring strict compliance with Customs and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) requirements.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor performance metrics.
2. Strategic Planning
- Develop robust production plans based on sales forecasts and inventory data.
- Synchronize stock levels with Warehouse and Production teams to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Analyze usage trends to optimize long-term planning strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, and Finance to ensure operational synergy.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment (Operations/Supply Chain).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/planning systems.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of INCOTERMS, FTA compliance, and import/export procedures.
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
