We've grown profitably year-on-year with a lean team. Now we need someone to build the operations backbone that lets us scale without breaking.
THE ROLE
You'll be our operations backbone building systems while executing daily operations. This is 50% hands-on execution and 50% systems building.
You don't just solve problems. You create systems so problems don't happen again.
CRITICAL: THIS IS A HANDS-ON ROLE
You will physically do the work, not just supervise:
- Pack B2B retail orders yourself when deadlines are tight
- Drive to suppliers in Shah Alam to pick up urgent materials
- Work on production floor solving problems in real-time
- Manage 3PL warehouse remotely for B2C orders
- Train team by showing them, not just telling them
- Coordinate production while sometimes filling in on production line
This is NOT a desk job where you delegate everything.
We need a leader who rolls up sleeves and works alongside the team.
If you're looking for pure supervisory position where you never touch products, this role is not for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
EXECUTE 50%:
- Coordinate production team on daily schedules, setting their targets
- Manage 3PL warehouse fulfillment, deliveries, and issues
- Order from suppliers and chase deliveries relentlessly
- Track inventory in SiteGiant ERP
- Manage project deadlines for campaigns and corporate orders
- Pack B2B orders when team needs support
- Drive to suppliers and warehouse for urgent matters
- Hire part-timers when needed
- Solve operational fires as they happen
SYSTEMIZE 50%:
- Create SOPs for ordering, QC, production, packing, and delivery
- Document workflows so anyone can follow them
- Build checklists that prevent mistakes
- Identify bottlenecks and fix them permanently
- Implement tracking systems for deadlines, supplier lead times, and inventory
- Optimize processes to reduce costs and save time
- Train others and make operations run smoothly without constant supervision
Goal: In 12 months, operations run smoothly even when you're away. Everything is documented, tracked, and systematic.
YOU'RE OUR PERFECT FIT IF
MUST HAVES:
Experience:
- 3-5 years in operations, logistics, supply chain, or inventory management
- Worked in SME or startup with less than 30 people
- Used to wearing multiple hats and doing hands-on work
- Has built basic systems or SOPs before
Critical Requirements:
- Own car and valid driving license required you'll drive to suppliers and warehouse regularly, this is not optional
- Comfortable with hands-on work willing to pack orders, move stock, work on production floor
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is strong advantage for supplier negotiations
Personality and Skills:
- Love creating systems you see chaos and immediately think how to fix it permanently
- Fast executor get things done today, not next week
- Natural documenter you create checklists, SOPs, and tracking sheets without being told
- Organized multitasker handle 10+ projects without dropping balls
- Tech comfortable can use SiteGiant, Google Sheets, various apps, WhatsApp coordination
- Problem solver who stays calm when things break, you fix them and prevent them from breaking again
- Independent worker need minimal hand-holding, can figure things out yourself
Perfect Fit: You've worked in chaotic SME where you did everything operations, logistics, some packing, supplier coordination, crisis management. Now you want to build proper systems while staying connected to ground operations.

Compensation:
- Base Salary: RM4500 - RM6000 per month based on experience
