Job Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing production output, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality products for customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform processes according to schedule and required specifications, drawings, and work instructions
- Ensure full and efficient passdown to the next shift.
- Highlight any problems or abnormalities
- Provide training activities for new comer (buddy system)
- Take part in continuous improvement activities
- Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol
- Support any relevant ad hoc duties and tasking assign by the superior
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to work independently
- Able to speak and write simple English
- Able to read and interpret basic Engineering drawing
- Team player with good problem solving skills
- Basic computer literacy
Educational/CertificationRequirement:
- At least SPM for Malaysian or equivalent cert.
Experience Requirement:
- Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
- Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes
- Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required
Work Experience:
- 1 year manufacturing experience preferred or prior working experience in manufacturing environment
- 2 years of working experience in the related field would be an advantage
- 1-2 years working in machine shop, assembly clean Semi-Conductor and/or similar industry
