What You Will Be Doing
- Support and Maintain Applications: Handle PRD tickets and provide reliable application support for systems such as MYSTICS and Flexiworx.
- Develop and Enhance Solutions: Build and improve web applications using Oracle APEX and related tools with a focus on usability and performance.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Gain Hands-On Experience: Expand your technical capabilities in Oracle technologies, web development, and application troubleshooting.
- Optimize for Efficiency: Monitor application performance, address user feedback, and implement timely improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Web Development Knowledge: Foundational understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or related frameworks.
- Oracle Tools Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Oracle Forms & Reports, with exposure to Oracle APEX considered a strong advantage.
- Database & Programming Skills: Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming, with solid understanding of database querying and scripting.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and application issues efficiently.
- Application Lifecycle Awareness: Familiarity with application lifecycle management practices and basic version control tools.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong aptitude for analysing technical challenges and delivering timely, practical solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with team members and provide clear task updates and documentation.
- Oracle APEX Exposure: Hands-on exposure to Oracle APEX development is highly desirable.
- Ticket Management Experience: Experience handling PRD or application support tickets is an added advantage.
- Database Optimization Knowledge: Understanding of Oracle database structures and basic performance optimization techniques.
