ob Description:
We are looking for an experienced
Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases across
on-premise infrastructure and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and cloud database services.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database environments
- Manage database instances in on-premise and cloud (OCI / AWS / Azure)
- Perform backup and recovery using RMAN
- Monitor database performance and tune queries for optimization
- Implement and manage High Availability (HA) solutions (RAC, Data Guard)
- Ensure database security, patching, and compliance
- Handle database migrations (on-prem cloud)
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide 24/7 support when required
- Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting / tools
- Work closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c/21c)
- Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL
- Hands-on experience with:
- RMAN (backup & recovery)
- Data Guard / RAC
- Performance tuning (AWR, ASH reports)
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with cloud platforms:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- AWS RDS / Azure DB (good to have)
- Understanding of networking, storage, and infrastructure concepts
