We've been looking out Candidates for Senior Oracle Database Administrator position with our client based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role requires work from office. Max Budget upto 10500MYR Per month.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of Database Administration on MidRange/Wintel Databases. Knowledge on Mainframe Databases will be advantageous.
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline - Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in IT.
- Diploma in IT - Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in IT.
- Professional DBMS certification is advantageous.
Competencies
- Good knowledge on Oracle Database Administration Installation, upgrade, patches
- Database performance tuning.
- Backup & Recovery.
- Automation of monitoring & alerts generation.
- Experience on Disaster Recovery.
- Knowledge on Cluster setup such as Oracle RAC, HACMP, Veritas Cluster and Windows cluster.
- Knowledge on DB replication such as Dataguard, Goldengate & Disks Replication.
- DBMS installation & Upgrades.
- Standard enforcements.
- Capacity Management & Planning.
- SLA management 24X7 availability.
