We are seeking an Oracle Performance Architect capable of contributing to major projects while also proactively analyzing and optimizing production environments.

Technical Requirements

• Oracle 19c with Active Data Guard / Oracle Enterprise Manager (including legacy v11 & v12 components)
• Oracle Streams (legacy, being replaced by Attunity)
• SPARC + Solaris 11 (current platform)
• IBM Power 10 + AIX 7.2/7.3 (target Oracle platform)
• x86 + Red Hat Enterprise Linux + PostgreSQL
• Attunity (Full Mode + CDC)
• Application Servers: IBM WebSphere / JBoss
• VTOM and TWS schedulers
• ElasticSearch / Kibana

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Involvement

• Participate in multiple infrastructure initiatives and contribute to defining target Oracle architectures in collaboration with stakeholders
• Consider storage requirements, including performance, backup/restore constraints, regulatory needs, and disaster recovery procedures
• Support and execute performance testing within project frameworks

Production Analysis & Optimization

• Perform deep-dive analysis of production database activity and provide actionable recommendations across both application and infrastructure layers
• Monitor database performance and propose short-, medium-, and long-term optimization strategies to application and infrastructure teams
• Assist teams in implementing recommended changes

Expert Support

• Provide expert-level support on Oracle Database during application or infrastructure optimization phases
• Act as a performance and tuning reference for ongoing operational and project activities
