Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for managing and driving packaging development initiatives across Southeast Asia. You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Lead packaging development projects from concept generation through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Develop and define technical specifications for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, including polybags (printed and unprinted), carton boxes, and palletizing guidelines for all SKUs in SEA, including promotional items.
- Apply deep understanding of products, markets, consumers, and competitors to formulate both long-term and short-term packaging strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and adapt packaging designs, dimensions, and production processes to meet evolving market needs and consumer preferences while optimizing cost savings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Product Development, Planning, and Manufacturing to ensure packaging meets quality, sustainability, and operational requirements.
- Monitor packaging trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements within SEA markets to maintain competitive advantage.
- Drive cost-efficiency initiatives without compromising packaging integrity and consumer experience.
- Support supply chain and procurement teams in sourcing packaging materials and vendors as required. To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- A degree in the related job field.
- Those with 1 to 2 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.
- Willing to relocate to the job location.
