Paint Engineer - Manager

RESPONSIBILITES TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL :

1. Domain knowledge of pu paint, uv paint, acrylic paint, water base paint preparation & application
2. Domain knowledge of manufacturing processes & application processes of plastic paint shops, plastic parts pp, abs, nylon
3. Basic knowledge of quality requirements of plastic painted parts - pp, abs, nylon etc & there pretreatment for paint application
4. Basic know-how of consumables used in plastic /metal paint shop, their technical specification, purpose & evaluation criteria.
5. Hands on experience on testing of paint & other direct consumables.
6. Familiar with wet paint testing & dry paint film testing- adhesion, uv, humidity, viscosity,solid content, thickness sst etc.
7. Ability to effectively communicate specific requirements with suppliers and monitor the overall development process at supplier end.
8. Strategic thinking & problem solving approach related to paint shop

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor/Diploma Chemical/Chemistry (Experience in Paint Shop)
2. 3-4 years of working in related paint shop
3. Knowledge about the product & process
4. Knowledge about quality systems, six sigma, kaizen, etc
5. Knowledge of robot programing, plc programing
6. Knowledge of productivity monitoring improvement system.
7. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, EMS 14001 OHSAS 18001.
8. Knowledge of kaizen, 5s, lean manufacturing.
