About the role

We are seeking a part-time/freelance Accountant / Sr. Finance Executive, on a contract basis. This role involves managing accounting, tax, legal, audit, payroll, and financial tracking functions.

Responsibilities

Accounting:

• Oversee the accounting department for accurate and timely financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Prepare and review financial statements

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process supplier invoices
• Manage payments to vendors, including rent and utilities
• Handle client invoicing and follow up on receivables
• Monitor ageing reports and escalate delays when necessary

Tax & Compliance

• Prepare and submit tax filings (e.g., SST, corporate tax support)
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance checks

Payroll:

• Oversee the payroll process ensuring accurate and timely payments
• Ensure compliance with employment laws

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
• Experience with financial software and tools
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
