Role Summary

We are looking for a Manager in Partnerships where you will be a key architect of KAF Digital Bank's growth. The role of the candidate is not just to look for leads but helping to build and shape the ecosystem.

The candidate will identify, negotiate, and launch strategic alliances that embed our financial services into the daily lives of Malaysians. The partnership can come in all forms that ranges from fintech enablers, MSMEs platforms to institutional and corporate clients that will drive the business.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and prioritize high-impact partnership opportunities across various sectors and from micro to large corporate institutions

Lead the entire partnership lifecyclefrom initial outreach and pitching to commercial negotiation and final contract execution.

Work closely with Product and Tech teams to ensure our digital products are seamlessly integrated into partner platforms with phased approach

Design win-win revenue models and incentive structures that drive ROI for both KAF and our partners.

Act as the primary bridge between internal departments and external partner stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Stay ahead of digital banking trends and regulatory changes (BNM) to proactively pivot our partnership strategy.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, digital banking or fintech with a strong understanding on the overall products offerings in the industry

A solid understanding of the Malaysian financial landscape, including digital payments, financing, and the Open Banking ecosystem.

Experience liaising with internal and external business stakeholders in building meaningful relationships with a focus on driving win-win partnership and business growth

A self starter and proven ability to deal with ambiguous situations in a fast paced and dynamic environment with multiple initiatives by being resourceful

Experience working in an Agile delivery environment as a Product Owner and leading product development initiatives from ideation to launch with strong ability to influence, lead and coordinate with cross functional department

Excellent business and strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies via financial modelling or strong presentation skills both written and oral in presenting the value proposition of the business case internally and externally

A minimum of Bachelor's Degree is required
