Parttime Sales Associate

Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Petaling Jaya. The Sales Associate will assist customers on the sales floor, provide product information, and support customers in selecting appropriate footwear and related items. Daily responsibilities include handling sales transactions, managing point-of-sale systems, maintaining store displays and stock levels, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. The role also involves supporting promotional activities, adhering to company policies and procedures, and collaborating with team members to achieve sales and service targets. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and peak retail periods.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with a diverse range of customers.
• Basic retail and sales skills, including cash handling, operation of point-of-sale systems, and familiarity with visual merchandising principles.
• Effective communication skills in English and any additional relevant local languages, with clear, confident speaking and active listening abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, standing environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in stock handling and store presentation.
• Reliability and punctuality, with a flexible schedule to work part-time hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Previous experience in retail, footwear, or fashion is an advantage but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Basic computer literacy for handling sales systems and store-related digital tools, and willingness to learn company processes.
