Payroll Analyst

Reporting to the Manager - HR Operations, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

● Responsible for a full spectrum of monthly payroll functions which includes preparation and processing of payroll in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.

● Perform payroll trending and data analysis.

● Generate Payroll report and other payroll related reports for internal and external submission.

● Liaise with the respective government statutory bodies.

● Ensure accurate, timely payments and compliance with all statutory requirements.

● Ensure the preparation of annual tax reporting is accurate and timely.

● Perform posting to finance payroll related entries and ensure the postings are charged correctly.

● Ensure proper documentation and compliance for internal controls and audits.

● Assist in other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

● Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Mathematics or accounting preferred

● Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required

● Experience with Malaysia payroll and labour regulations for both retail & corporate functions.

● Knowledge in SAP HCM or SAP SuccessFactors will be added advantage. Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint.

● Able to analyze payroll issues and provide corrective action.

● High level of discretion and confidentiality with the handling of the payroll data and results.

● Meticulous and good analytical skill.

● A team player with a pleasant personality, can-do attitude, and the ability to work independently.
