Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on engineering support for PCBA/PBA production, troubleshooting assembly and manufacturing issues to maintain quality, yield, and throughput.
Perform component-level and circuit-level troubleshooting and lead RCCA/root cause analysis for recurring test and production failures.
Maintain and troubleshoot production test stands, test fixtures, and measurement equipment, including calibration and software/hardware alignment.
Perform software/firmware flashing and verification, and execute automated/semi-automated production test scripts according to SOPs.
Generate and maintain PASS/FAIL test reports, issue logs, and engineering documentation for manufacturing traceability.
Coordinate technical issues with contract manufacturers, internal teams, and overseas engineering teams, including escalation and resolution of critical issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in PCBA/PBA manufacturing, electronics testing, hardware testing, or manufacturing engineering.
Hands-on experience in circuit troubleshooting, failure analysis, RCCA, and corrective actions.
Familiarity with test equipment, programming/flashing tools, firmware/software, and automated test scripts, especially Python.
Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and test results.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a hands-on production/manufacturing environment and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Willing to work in Kawasan Perindustrian Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.
