Lotus is establishing a new standard for child healthcare by seamlessly integrating medical and mental health under one roof. We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician or Family Doctor to be the cornerstone of our clinical practice and serve as the officialPerson-in-Charge (PIC)of the facility.
- Multidisciplinary Model:Work in direct, continuous collaboration with an in-house Child Psychologist and a Consulting Psychiatrist, ensuring a holistic, unique patient pathway (mental health, physical health, and medication management).
- Leadership Opportunity:This role includes being designated thePerson-in-Charge (PIC)for the clinic'sAct 586licensing and regulatory compliance, offering early career leadership experience.
- Professional Support:We handle most of the operational overheads (scheduling, billing, administration, maintenance).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert primary and specialist pediatric care, including well-child checks, health screenings, and illness diagnosis/treatment.
- Administer and manage the clinic'svaccination programand perform necessary minor clinical procedures.
- Serve as the legally mandatedPerson-in-Charge (PIC), ensuring the clinic maintains regulatory compliance with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and thePoisons Act 1952(for dispensary control).
- Collaborate with the Psychology team on developmental assessments and behavioral management plans.
- Maintain scrupulous medical records and uphold the highest clinical and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Degree:Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
- Specialist Qualification:Completed a Master's in Pediatrics or equivalent qualification recognized by the MMC.
- Experience:Newly qualified specialist or 13 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
- Language:Fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu (proficiency in Mandarin is an asset).
