PEMACU KERJAYA by VentureTECH is a structured 12-month contract-based programme that provides graduates with valuable industry exposure through on-the-job training at selected VentureTECH investee companies, complemented by structured development modules. The programme aims to develop Bumiputera graduates through practical job placements and training, equipping them with industry knowledge, technical competencies, and professional skills to support their career growth.
Position: PEMACU KERJAYA, Junior Executive, ESG Coordinator
Eligibility: Open to fresh graduates and entry-level candidates.

Location: Ampang
JOB SUMMARY:
The Junior Executive, ESG Coordinator will support the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the company's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sustainability, corporate responsibility, and ESG reporting within an engineering and infrastructure environment. The role will assist in ensuring ESG initiatives align with regulatory requirements, stakeholder expectations, and long-term corporate strategy.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Engineering, or related field.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply or candidates with relevant internship or related experience may also be considered (Entry Level)
- Strong interest in sustainability and ESG frameworks.
- Good analytical and data management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation management.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- ESG Implementation & Monitoring
- Assist in coordinating ESG initiatives across departments.
- Support data collection for Environmental, Social and Governance performance indicators.
- Track ESG KPIs and support progress reporting to management.
- Assist in implementing sustainability-related policies and procedures.
2.Reporting & Documentation
- Support preparation of ESG reports, disclosures, and sustainability updates.
- Assist in compiling data for Bursa Malaysia or IPO-related ESG requirements (if applicable).
- Maintain proper documentation of ESG evidence and supporting records.
3.Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate ESG-related meetings, training sessions, and awareness programmes.
- Support collaboration with external partners, consultants, and training providers.
- Assist in internal communication of ESG initiatives.
4.Compliance & Governance
- Support monitoring of regulatory updates related to ESG, sustainability, and corporate governance.
- Assist in audit preparation related to ESG disclosures and compliance matters.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTION
- Exposure to ESG reporting frameworks such as Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting, GRI, or SDG alignment is an added advantage.
- Understanding of carbon management, renewable energy, or sustainability initiatives will be beneficial.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work cross-functionally.
