About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Specialist to join our People Operations team in Singapore/ Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering seamless employee lifecycle support, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and an outstanding employee experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
You will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to support our employees from onboarding through off-boarding while driving process improvements and HR operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation, transfers, promotions, and off-boarding.
- Prepare and administer employment contracts, HR letters, and employee-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HR systems.
Payroll & Benefits Management
- Coordinate monthly payroll activities and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Manage payroll changes, statutory submissions, and employee benefits administration.
- Support employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, leave, and HR policies.
Compliance & HR Governance
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and company policies.
- Manage employee documentation and statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and tax-related matters.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain proper HR records.
HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and support system enhancements.
- Generate regular HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
- Support HR digitalization and automation initiatives.
Employee Experience & HR Support
- Act as a trusted HR operations contact for employees and managers.
- Deliver responsive and high-quality HR support services.
- Participate in employee engagement and HR projects across the organization.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, controls, and employee experience.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
- Support regional and cross-functional HR initiatives as required.
Experience
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or HR Generalist roles.
- Solid understanding of Malaysian employment regulations and statutory requirements.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Eager to learn and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data management and comfortable with HR systems/tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, technology, startup, or multinational environments.
- Experience supporting multiple Southeast Asian markets, especially Singapore.
- Exposure to HR process automation, data analytics, and continuous improvement projects.
