Your Role in VT Markets
As the Performance Management Specialist reporting to the Organizational Development Manager, you will be the architect of VT Markets performance excellence system. Based in Kuala Lumpur with global impact across 7 regions, you will design and implement the OKR framework, performance management mechanisms, and coaching infrastructure that drives our organizational growth from 500 to 800 employees. Working closely with HR Business Partners and HR COE team members, you will establish the critical linkage between individual performance, organizational objectives, and reward systemsdirectly enabling VT Markets transformation into a performance-driven, data-enabled organization where every employee understands their contribution to strategic business outcomes.

Job Experience & Education
- 4-7 years of progressive HR experience with minimum 2 years specializing in performance management, OKR implementation, or organizational effectiveness in fast-growth technology, financial services, or multinational environments
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications (SHRM-CP, OKR Coach, Performance Management certifications) strongly preferred
- Proven track record implementing OKR or goal-setting frameworks across multi-country operations with demonstrable impact on business performance metrics
Technical and Functional Skills- Expert knowledge of OKR methodology, performance management frameworks, and performance-reward linkage systems with ability to design scalable models for organizations
- Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and Excel for workforce analytics, performance dashboarding, and ROI measurement
- Strong capability in designing performance coaching frameworks, manager capability-building programs, and performance conversation toolkits that translate strategic objectives into frontline execution
Soft Skills- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills with ability to gain buy-in from senior leadership, regional managers, and cross-functional teams for performance system changes
- High analytical rigor combined with business acumen to translate organizational strategy into measurable performance metrics and connect performance data to P&L outcomes
- Strong change management orientation with resilience to navigate resistance, coach managers through difficult performance conversations, and maintain system integrity during rapid organizational scaling
Job Responsibilities
OKR Management & Strategic Alignment
- Design and implement VT Markets enterprise-wide OKR framework ensuring 100% alignment from CEO objectives through departmental goals to individual Key Results across all regions and functions.
- Optimize OKR infrastructure, governance and enablement tools, ensuring consistency and quality across regions with varying performance management maturity.
- Create OKR dashboards and performance tracking mechanisms enabling real-time visibility for leadership into goal progress, blockers, and resource allocation needs.
Performance Assessment & Review Optimization- Lead end-to-end performance management and review cycles including defining role-based metrics, establishing rating frameworks for major functions, facilitating calibration for fairness and consistency (system configuration, manager training, quality assurance) ensuring on-time completion across all regions.
- Build direct linkage between OKR achievement, performance ratings, and Total Rewards in partnership with C&B teamcreating transparent line of sight from goals to rewards.
- Design recognition mechanisms across multiple frequencies (quarterly, monthly, real-time) that reinforce performance culture and drive visibility of high performers and exceptional contributions.
Performance Coaching & Manager Capability Building- Design comprehensive performance coaching framework equipping managers with skills for effective goal-setting conversations, ongoing feedback delivery, difficult performance discussions, and development planning.
- Develop manager training curriculum and toolkits covering OKR writing, performance documentation, constructive feedback, and performance reviews, while providing direct coaching to managers navigating complex performance situations including underperformance management, PIPs, and high-performer retention conversations.
- Partner with regional HRBPs to diagnose performance management capability gaps across regions, deliver targeted training interventions, and build HRBP coaching capability on performance matters.
Talent-Performance Intelligence - Enable data-driven talent reviews by developing executive-ready talent analytics including performance distribution by function/region, performance-tenure correlation, performance-attrition patterns, and bench strength visibility for critical roles.
- Provide performance intelligence to and support HRBPs and HR COE, enabling people strategies including high-potential identification, succession planning pipelines, strategic workforce planning.
- Conduct talent segmentation analysis using performance data to identify top performers requiring retention strategies, emerging leaders for acceleration programs, and underperformance populations requiring intervention or transition.
