Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Performance Marketing Executive (Media Buy) to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing digital accounts and expanding our channel mix through paid channels.
Your primary focus will be on achieving campaign-specific results and maximising our clients campaign performance. To excel in this position, you should possess strong analytical, strategic, and results-driven capabilities to optimise every campaign effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee campaign management, ensuring key performance metrics are met and exceeded.
- Continuously optimise marketing activities to enhance return on investment.
- Allocate budgets, analyse results, and recommend modifications to advertising spend.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to guide A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and spend scaling tests across online and offline campaigns to determine the most effective strategies.
Analytical Skills:
- Utilise strong analytical skills for budget estimation and allocation, targeting, and segmentation, evaluating channel performance, and forecasting campaign results.
- Employ a data-driven approach to problem-solving, extracting insights to make informed campaign recommendations.
- Gather and analyse consumer insights to develop creative marketing acquisition tactics.
- Monitor web analytics dashboards and reporting tools to track and maintain reports, budgets, campaign performance, ROI, and channel metrics.
- Generate insightful reports for campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and creatively addressing non-performing aspects.
Strategic Skills:
- Establish, manage, and optimise campaigns across various marketing channels such as SEM, display advertising, social media, and content discovery platforms.
- Source and implement effective campaign optimisation strategies, including keyword expansion, targeting strategies, ad creative performance analysis, and bidding strategies.
- Evaluate KPIs across marketing platforms, making necessary adjustments for enhanced marketing effectiveness and optimal ROAS.
- Understand products thoroughly to propose key mediums and strategies aligned with client marketing objectives and target audiences.
- Oversee campaign budget pacing, scheduling, placements, and targeting.
- Utilise data and insights from analytics tools to track performance and behaviour across marketing touchpoints, ensuring budget efficiency and campaign effectiveness.
- Formulate hypotheses and conduct A/B testing to recommend further campaign optimisations.
- Leverage customer insights to segment, target, and reach potential customers.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and developments in the digital industry.
Collaborative Skills:
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with teams across different levels of the organisation.
- Work closely with client servicing teams to set goals, discuss campaign status, produce channel-appropriate briefs and creative assets, and coordinate with vendors for online paid channels.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data exporting, tabulation, visualisation, and interpretation.
- Navigate and interpret data and insights from tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
- Experience with ad management platforms such as Facebook Ad Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Google Marketing Platform (Campaign Manager & DV360) or similar.
- Assist in implementing Google Analytics and Event Triggers, Google Ads Conversions Tag, and Facebook Ads Pixel.
- Set up custom conversions for ad platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in media or digital roles.
- Passionate and eager to learn.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Possess initiative, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Willing to travel Kelana Jaya.
- Must possess own transportation.
