Job Summary
As a Personal Banker Mortgage at RHB Bank Berhad, you will be a key point of contact for customers seeking mortgage financing. You will be responsible for providing personalized advice, guiding clients through the mortgage application process, and ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience while achieving sales targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage potential customers interested in mortgage products through various channels (e.g., in-branch, referrals, outbound calls).
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis for clients to recommend suitable mortgage solutions from RHB Bank's product portfolio.
- Educate customers on the features, benefits, terms, and conditions of various mortgage products, including interest rates, repayment options, and eligibility criteria.
- Assist clients with the end-to-end mortgage application process, including documentation gathering, form completion, and submission.
- Liaise with internal departments such as credit assessment, legal, and operations to ensure timely processing and approval of mortgage applications.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing mortgage clients, offering ongoing support and identifying opportunities for cross-selling other banking products.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets for mortgage products, contributing to the bank's overall growth and profitability.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes related to mortgage lending.
- Ensure all activities comply with RHB Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on mortgage products.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, housing market trends, and regulatory frameworks in Malaysia.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Highly customer-centric with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in other local languages is an advantage.
