Job Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial assessments and analyze clients financial situations
- Develop and present customized financial plans tailored to clients specific needs and goals
- Recommend appropriate financial products and services, including investments, insurance, and banking solutions
- Monitor and review clients portfolios regularly, making adjustments as needed
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic conditions, and financial regulations
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively acquire new clients
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of financial services
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies
- Participate in financial literacy programs and community outreach initiatives
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a similar role
- Valid license(s) for selling financial products and providing financial advice in Malaysia
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and risk management strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office suite
- Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language skills are a plus
