Role Description The Perunding Kewangan Islam will provide Shariah-compliant financial advisory services, guiding customers on family takaful solutions that align with their protection and financial goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting prospective and existing customers, conducting financial needs analyses, presenting suitable takaful plans, and supporting customers through the application and onboarding process. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Islamic financial principles, Prudential BSN Takaful products, and regulatory requirements, as well as participating in training and development programmes. The Perunding Kewangan Islam will collaborate with internal teams to ensure high service standards, accurate documentation, and ongoing policy servicing. This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Puchong, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in one-on-one and group settings.
- Knowledge of Islamic finance principles and Shariah-compliant financial products, preferably with experience in takaful or related financial services.
- Sales, negotiation, and consultative advisory skills, including the ability to conduct financial needs analyses and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple customer cases, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Comfort with digital tools and systems, including online platforms, CRM or sales systems, and virtual communication tools.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating integrity, reliability, and accountability.
- Minimum diploma or bachelor's degree in business, finance, Islamic studies, or a related field is advantageous; relevant industry certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in financial advisory, insurance, or takaful is beneficial but motivated entry-level candidates with strong learning agility are encouraged to apply.
